Summer Fall 2021
Sept. 23 - Oct. 1, 2021

We’ve had the chance to do a lot of product research with
Nomad’s new SlideKick Surface Iron.
Dale Hightower brought
us a variety of colors a few months ago and
we are very
impressed with its ability to harvest yellowtail.
It’s
heavier than a traditional surface lure which enables you to
cast much further
especially straight into the wind.
It is
very important to have a heavier action jig stick such as a
Calstar 90j or a Seeker 93h Ulua in order to take full
advantage of the 4.5ozs.
Nomad once again producing another
game changer. Can’t wait to try it on wahoo! |

Sept. 30, 2021
Very busy the last few days working up the beach. These fall
8 day trips are always full of variety and this trip was no
different. Very good yellowtail, bass, and rock cod fishing.
Everybody has tagged what they need and are breaking down
the gear in flat calm weather.
Thanks again to Sonny Jones, Pelagic Gear, United Composite
Rods, Okuma, Ballyhood Lures, Peter J Art, Cal Sheets, Five
Star Fish Processing, Seaguar, and Tiburon for all the
giveaways. Also to our loyal clients who enjoy fishing for
whatever we put them on. Wether we are casting bombs for
wahoo or bouncing a swimbait for sandbass they always try
for them with a smile on their face.
Sept. 27, 2021
Weather has been tough this trip.
Thankfully the fishing has
been excellent on the anchor
for Yellowfin, Yellowtail, and
Dorado.
We’ve had a great couple days down here
now we are
headed up to fish yellowtail the remainder of the trip.
Hopefully we can find some calmer water on the beach. |
