Nice weather the last few days. Picking away on
the tuna.
June 5, 2021
The weather was great today. A nice relief from yesterday. Leroy
with a nice fish in the high hundreds. Picked off more decent fish
today. Sharks definitely put a hurt on our day. Really a bummer.
Tough day yesterday, with a lot of wind and rain. Only a handful of
tuna and wahoo with the stormy conditions
June 3, 2021
Our first day gave us a chance at wahoo and a couple tuna. Steady
strikes for a few hours until it was exhausted. It was a nice way to
get the ball rolling while the weather is good. Today we sat on the
anchor all day and experienced a pick on nice grade tuna. 140 pounds
was the average with a few bigger and a couple smaller. Rocco pulled
out this kite fish just over the 200 pound mark

May 23-25, 2021
The 1.5 day that returned yesterday got limits of yellowtail and
some nice hits on the tuna!
May 7-9, 2021
The first of our three weekend trips just docked this morning.
The trip had a slow start and an explosive finish that earned
them limits of Bluefin tuna. Nice grade of fish up to 69 pounds
that took the jackpot. We have a little more maintenance this week and back on the
fishing grounds on Friday.

Long Range Revival
Its been busy the last few days. We got to experience some
of the best long range fishing we’ve seen in years. We opted
out of going to the lower banks due to lack of sign and
cooler water and bombed it west. We only had a few days to
fish but that’s all we needed. There is a really good sign
of fish and things to come. Now we are headed into Cabo
enjoying some nice weather and some good company.

We gave a toast to Jack Nilsen this afternoon on his favorite
spot on the Red Rooster. Host Bob Peterson brought out Jackie’s
drink of choice Crown Royal. Could not have asked for a more
beautiful day to celebrate Jack’s life. Fish Hard Loving Life
Jan. 6, 2021
We searched for bluefin the first day of our Seeker Rods 10/13 day
trip. Rough weather made it difficult to locate them. So we are
headed south enjoying some warmer weather and calmer seas.

Lot of big ones today! Most in the 180lb range with 2 cows and 1
super. Overall good fishing but the typical heartbreaks kept
haunting us. Weather looks to aggressive to fish bluefin tomorrow so
we will be on the beach. Yellowtail and cod are on the agenda for
the morning.
Dec. 28, 2020
Excellent bluefin fishing last couple days. Weather has been back
and forth but plenty fishable. Fish have been 80 to 190 lbs with the
majority being around 120. They've been eating the heavy line
luckily. Lot of broken reels and some rods. It’s been eventful to
say the least.
Dec. 15, 2020 Much thanks to all the sponsors for the Moffat Charter 2020. Looking
forward to a new year and like the sound of Moffat Charter 2021!

Had another day of Yellowtail
fishing working up the beach.
Tough conditions with the weather
but still kept the guys busy. Broke down all the gear and
heading home . Trying to get up the beach before the heavy winds
tomorrow
Dec. 10, 2020
Nothing going on the tuna today. Watched the fish boil around until
lunch, then took off to head up. Rudy picked off this giant wahoo that was the highlight of the day.
Dec. 9, 2020
We had a few bites today but overall slow . In the morning it
felt like you had a decent chance at a bite but the afternoon
was more show and no go. We are going to give it another try tomorrow and hope for a few
bites.

No sign today on the other Banks . Nice water
and bait life just no fish. A likely area for some to move in just not yet
we looked offshore in the afternoon and found big areas of
porpoise with not much to offer . No productivity today but at
least turned over a couple more stones.
Back up to where we were getting a few bites tomorrow. Hopefully
things have changed for the better.
Pretty good show all day just no go. Just a few bites throughout
the entire day for a couple fish. Steve again today the lucky
angler that landed the only two fish today. Tomorrow we
are going to check put a couple other areas in hopes of fish
that will cooperate
Dec. 7, 2020
With the exception of Steve's, 221 pound tuna the day was very slow.
One other fish 65 pounds in the evening after watching fish boil
around all day.
Dec. 5, 2020
Hurricane Bank was poor, we tagged a dozen fish 30 to 60 pounds
and 25 wahoo. Sharks were really bad and could not fish on the
anchor. Travelling again to get out of the weather and up to the
beach to try for a couple big tuna.
Nov. 24, 2020
The Red Rooster III, will be with US Customs at 9am and back at the
H&M dock at 10am, Nov. 24th.

Raider jig.
We will try it again tomorrow
Nov. 16, 2020
Nice day of trophy yellowtail and wahoo.

We left on our Accurate fly home 12day with a light load of

the Rocks with a day and a half of big yellowtail and today
